About Us

The Bureau for Industrial Cooperation (BICO) is the consultancy and service arm of the College of Engineering and Technology (CoET), University of Dar es Salaam.

Established in 1990

BICO was created to strengthen the University's public-service role by connecting academic expertise with practical industrial and institutional needs.

ERB registered

BICO was formally registered as a consulting firm by the Engineers Registration Board of Tanzania in 1999 under Registration No. 035.

Multidisciplinary delivery

The bureau draws on UDSM expertise, research capacity and facilities to deliver consultancy, testing, advisory and professional-development services.
